ERC funded PhD position in Cardiovascular Immunology

We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our lab to study the function of the immune system in cardiovascular diseases and identify novel immunotherapies intended for clinical translation. For our studies, we utilize transgenic mice and a wide range of molecular biology techniques. This offers the great opportunity to learn and apply different experimental approaches to dissect the molecular machinery that drives inflammation in cardiovascular diseases. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with world experts in the field of cardiovascular immunology and present your work in high-profile international conferences.

The successful applicant should have a Master’s degree in immunology or molecular biology or related field. The candidate should be proactive and self-organized. Excellent oral as well as written communication skills are needed.

We offer

  • an ERC-funded position
  • an enthusiastic international working environment
  • outstanding scientific resources
  • the opportunity to collaborate with world-leaders in the field of cardiovascular immunology
